Nars Miss Liberty Highlighter

I have previously talked about Nars Albatross highlighter (post here) and today I thought share another Nars highlighter, Miss Liberty. Described as a soft, shimmering peach, it is pretty different from Albatross. The base is quite peachy with some silver shimmer which has quite a subtle, pretty result. I think its quite a universal colour that anyone would enjoy wearing. 

Miss Liberty comes in the standard Nars rubberised packaging and as you can see from the photos, my one has become quite grubby looking over time. Miss Liberty costs about €29 and you can pick one up from Nars counters or House of Fraser online (link here).

Nars Albatross Highlighter

Considering my love of both Nars blushes and highlighting products in general, it should come as no surprise that Albatross is one of my favourite makeup products in my collection. 

Albatross is made up of a sheer white base with golden shimmer through it. The powder is finely milled so you don't have to fear ending up with big chunks of glitter on your face. As the product is so finely milled, I have never had an issue with fallout when using it. When blended it, Albatross produces a wonderful sheen on the skin. Most of Nars blushes have a golden shimmer running through them and I find Albatross dusted along the tops of the cheekbones, compliments the blushes beautifully.

Albatross is part of the permanent line and comes in the classic Nars packaging that the blushes and eyeshadow duos also come in. As the packaging has a rubberised finish, it does have the tendency to attract dirt. Mine has quite a bit of golden shimmer all over it. In terms of prices, Albatross will set you back about €29 euro and is available from House of Fraser (link here), ASOS (link here) or from Nars counters. As you need very little product to achieve results, I expect it to last for ages. If you are looking for a nice highlighter, I definitely recommend taking a look at Albatross.

Jemma Kidd Dewy Glow in Iced Gold

I am a bit of magpie as I tend to be attracted to anything that sparkles and this obsession extends to one of my favourite makeup products, highlighters. I'd thought I would share one of my favourite highlighters, the Jemma Kidd Dewy Glow All Over Radiance Creme, with you today. 

I have it in the shade Iced Gold, which is perfect for my fair skin. Darker skin tones should try the shade Rose Gold, which looks stunning. I find Iced Gold to be a beautiful champagne colour, adding a lovely sheen when applied to the tops of the cheekbones. I tend to stick to fingers when applying this so the effect is quite suitable. However, if you wanted something more noticeable, the product is buildable.  

In terms of packaging, it is quite sturdy and light, perfect for travel. It has a slightly rubberised finish, similar to that of the Nars packaging, which can be prone to attracting dirt. It also comes with a lovely big mirror, which I personally find very useful. 

Unfortunately, the Jemma Kidd makeup line has been discontinued, which I think is such a pity. However, you may be able to still find it around before all of the products disappear. If you come across it, I definitely recommend picking it up while you still can as it is a beautiful product.
